The "Civil War" Was Not Fought Over Slavery

The foremost myth perpetuated by modern history revisionists is that the War of 1861 was fought by the North with the view of freeing the Southern slaves and extending to them social and political equality, and by the South in the interest of extending the institution of slavery and continuing the oppression of the Black race.
